You can hang a poster to promote healthy eating in the cafeteria, in the classroom or at home. The concept of “eat rainbow” is simplified for even smaller children, so it mentions certain organs and abilities. It doesn’t mention cancer prevention, antioxidants, etc.
For the poster, you can come up with activities for naming/sorting fruits and vegetables by color. You can talk to children about whether they have supported their eyes, brains or bones by eating the right vegetables and fruits for the day. Can they name all the products in the picture? Which vegetables and fruits have they never eaten before and why? Which fruit/vegetable do they like best and in what form?
